So I am all about a good makeover. I love when a space sees its full potential! That is why, I absolutely can’t stand my workspace. But I figured if I put it out there for the whole world to see, embarrassed myself with it’s awfulness and then moved on, it would help me figure out how to make it work. So here is the ugly truth. My workspace is a hot mess!
Unfortunately, my husband has taken over the home office. Well, he works from home, or is on the road with clients all over the world, so I guess he deserves it. So that leaves me with a desk in the middle of my great room. It is a less than ideal work situation. I can hear everything. I have to stay quiet while he is on customer calls. All of my stuff is out there for anyone to see when they enter my house. Not great.
Especially right now because my desk has become a dumping ground of stuff. (Hence my resolution to get organized for 2016!) I have school supplies (mine and my children’s). I have bills, papers, fabric samples, paint samples, you name it, it’s there.
Next to my work space is a closet that I try to corral all of my junk creative supplies. But even that has turned into a jumbled mess. So, now that I have shared with you the ugly side of it all, I am hoping you will hold my feet to the fire and make me get it done by next week. What do you think? Can you help a gal out?
I ordered a few organizing books to force me into it. We shall see if they help.
