Every morning I roll out of bed, slip my feet into my fuzzy slippers, shuffle out to the kitchen and flip on the coffee maker. It’s the first light to go on. And goodness knows I need that coffee. I am not a morning person. So I thought I should share my little coffee bar. It’s the perfect little patch of counter space in our kitchen and it truly is the best part of waking up.
Before we even moved into our house (almost 3 years ago) I designated this spot as the coffee bar. We have a Keurig so it would tuck nicely into the corner. I put all of the mugs into the cabinet above and put our little K-cup organizer out. But then, the mugs started getting cluttered and I needed the cabinet space for other things. But the drawer below the coffee bar remained empty. Not any more!
I quickly remedied that problem by purchasing a K-cup organizer that fits inside the drawer. And it holds more cups than our other organizer. I also snatched up a mug rack.
I quite enjoy having a little cream and sugar set. My husband uses Splenda so I put his little packets in the drawer as well. By displaying my mugs instead of my K-cups, it feels prettier and more organized. It’s the little things, right?
