I just love sitting around with neighbors and friends, chatting the evening away about nothing and everything. Enjoying the summer weather and the laid back pace. And what’s better than a little refreshing beverage to sip on?
One evening I found myself with a little bit of a dilemma. I wanted to make a pitcher of sangria but only had one bottle of red wine. Well, I decided to make white sangria with a little extra something. The rest is history.
What is it you ask, that was the magic ingredient? Just guess……
Orange Sangria
2 bottles of dry white wine (I used Fancy Pants Sauvignon Blanc)
2 C. orange juice
1/2 C. Grand Marnier
1/4 C. sugar
Mix well until all sugar is dissolved. Add in sliced orange, peach and lemon. Serve over ice.
And let me tell you, every last drop will be gone so prepare to make plenty if you have a large crowd!
