Yesterday was my children’s first day of school. They kept telling me to stop being so happy about them going back to school. I can’t help it! I love back to school time. I was that kid who had to organize her desk just so and sharpen all of my pencils and write my name as neatly as possible inside all of my notebooks. Sleep never came to me the night before the first day of school. Now, with my children, I find myself more excited than they are. Mostly because I love the organization and the schedule we have during the school year. So, of course, I had to send in a teacher gift on the first day, just to share my enthusiasm. This one was very easy and can be pulled off in less than 5 minutes. Seriously.
Aren’t these little pencil mason jars the cutest?! No, I didn’t paint them. They came from the Target dollar section. Sometimes I think that is the best section in the entire store. (Who am I kidding? That whole store is awesome!)
I bought some Starburst and some Smarties candy, created a little gift tag and there you have it. So simple and a great way to make your teacher smile.
And, just to make your life a little easier, I’ve created a printable for you! You can print off the gift tag here. You’re welcome! 🙂
