Every once in a while you stumble upon a bargain and you decide to make it into another project. And that project just brings you so much joy that you can’t believe it only cost you around $20! Well, this is that kind of project. This DIY artwork was born from inexpensive picture frames and scrapbook paper that was on sale. Here’s how I did it.
So I was at Michaels searching for just the right storage bins last month in my quest to organize my life. Of course I wandered over to the clearance area while I was at it. And there it was, a pad of really cute scrapbook paper with fun quotes on it. They had a very Kate Spade vibe. And for $5 I decided to take it home. I’d figure out what to do with it.
A few days later I was at IKEA getting frames for another project. That is when the idea hit me. I will make a gallery wall of fun and inspiring quotes from this scrapbook paper. So I grabbed so Ribba frames for $4 and $5 each and took them home.
I decided which ones I wanted to use. I chose to stick with the black, white and gold theme. I already had one larger quote that was in white and gold and I planned on using that as the centerpiece. Then I measured and cut and framed.
It was really that simple. Now I have to decide how to arrange them and exactly which wall will become the gallery wall. Hmmm. Stay tuned for that one!
