Fall decorating is my absolute favorite. Have I mentioned that before? And because the temperatures are nearing 90 here in the South, I’ve been a little slow to get it all done. I still can’t find any pumpkins that look decent and I’m afraid if I buy mums, they will shrivel and die in the heat. So, I’ve been slowly going room by room and sprucing things up for fall. I’d like to share with you our family hang out space, the game room. I shared some tid-bits about it but never really done a full room tour. The game room is all decorated with teal and orange for fall.
Are you ready for some football?! I know you hear the exact voice that says it in your head. And with all honesty, I can say no, I’m not ready for some football. But I am ready for some football game day snacks! So while my husband and son glue themselves to the TV each weekend and plot their fantasy football strategy during the week, I will whip up some delicious food for them to eat in front of the TV. There will be plenty for when friends stop by too! I put them all in our game room, which I rarely show on the blog because it is definitely a work in progress. But here’s a little peek at that too!

Seeing as it is a new season, I thought I’d share with you my favorite nail colors for fall.

Here are some 5 minute fall decorating tips that anyone can do. [Read more…]
Those of you who know me know that I am not a baker. Far from it. The measuring, the mess, ugh! I’d rather cook and taste and adjust instead of measuring. But after going apple picking last weekend, I needed to do something with all of those apples! I decided to make a hybrid of apple pie and apple crumble because apple pie is soooo good, but difficult to make. Since we have a nut allergy in my house, I made a nut free apple crumble pie. For you other non-bakers out there, even YOU can tackle this one.
