It is week 4 of the One Room Challenge and I am super excited to be chugging along as well as I am. If you read last week you know that I hit a little curve ball. And you also know from week 2, that I had trouble grabbing a great accessory that I wanted. But I am not going to let that stop me. And I haven’t so far.
Last week I discussed my curve ball but I didn’t reveal what it is. I will now. We found a house that we really liked. And we made an offer and put our house on the market. Don’t know if it will work out, but it means that I can’t exactly be taking down cabinet doors for days on end while I paint them and have 2 toned cabinets until they are finished. So, for now, the cabinets will stay green. But since I have painted the walls, the green cabinets aren’t so bad.
The walls were painted in Alabaster by Sherwin Williams. As I was first putting it up, I wasn’t so sure. But once it dried, it is a great white and leaves the room feeling so much cleaner and brighter than it did before. I was even excited to give my ironing board a makeover!
I still have some more accessories to hang but it is coming along. I am so pleased with how this is going. Hooray!
