It’s that time of year again! Time for the One Room Challenge put on by Linda at Calling It Home. There are lots of amazing bloggers involved this time and some other amazing sponsors. Make sure the you follow along!
This time I will be working on a client space. And even though it is called the One Room Challenge, it is more like a 3 room challenge for me. I am helping a client take her new home from builder basic to modern glam! It’s going to be fantastic! She has a very open floor plan so we will be working on the kitchen, breakfast area and living room.
Here is a picture of the kitchen. It’s a beautiful jumping off point! I really love the dark floors with the white cabinets. We need to spruce up the light fixtures and add some barstools.
The breakfast area and living room have huge windows and lots of natural light to work with. But my client has only kept her dining table. So other than working with that, everything will be new! It’s a designers dream.
So, here is the plan…..
I am sticking with a fairly neutral palette but adding little bits of color here and there with artwork and window treatments. I will pick up some sparkle with nickel fixtures. Grey is our jumping off point and I pulled it straight from the kitchen countertops. This should be fantastic!
