Hooray! It’s over! Congratulations to my fellow participants and to the wonderful host, Linda, at Calling It Home. We survived! Another one room challenge has come and gone. I really did enjoy doing this laundry room. It has been a thorn in my side for some time but now it is much better looking and a lot more functional. Are you ready to see it?
So here is what I did to change this room up. I painted it a lighter, brighter color. I added a much needed storage shelf. I reorganized all of the cabinetry. I found a better solution for my ironing board. And I added just a few accessories to make it just a little cuter. Thank goodness I got that IKEA kitchen cart! It fits perfectly in between my washer and dryer!
These were just some little hooks I got at Hobby Lobby that I thought would be great to hang my ironing board. It worked out! I even got a new, cute chevron ironing board cover.
I added these cute little buckets from IKEA over the sink. They will probably be home to my paint brushes as they dry. And I found this wash board, made out of glass and labeled as being made in Raleigh, NC, at an antique shop in Maine. I know!
