Have you ever noticed how the price of roses triples right around Valentine’s day? Can’t anyone get creative any more? I mean, come on! There are lots of other flowers out there that are every bit as beautiful (if not more so) than roses. Here are a few examples of beautiful arrangements with not a rose in sight. Save your $$ and diversify your flowers this Valentine’s day.
First of all, what is wrong with a simple yet stunning hydrangea bloom? They are my favorite. And if you give (or receive) one in a beautiful pale pink, it screams “I LOVE YOU!” Well, in my opinion, at least.
I found these bright and beautiful Gerbera daisies. Doesn’t the sight of them just make you happy? Don’t you want to make your Valentine smile? I love them. And you can get them in Valentine’s Day colors – pink and red.
Lastly, a bunch of carnations, a highly underrated flower, can make Valentine’s Day special. Their beautiful ruffled edges make for a full and lush arrangement. Don’t you agree?
I hope that whoever your valentine is, you get plenty of love, and some pretty flowers!
