As you all know, I have a booth at a local antique mall. (If you didn’t know that, read about it here and here.) And so far, it has been fun, but it’s not making me rich! That was never the plan. The plan was to find a place to help me fulfill my constant need to rescue old furniture. But it has been getting difficult to find time to shop for the booth and balance my budding design business, and this blog. Soon, I’m trying a new adventure. The Potato Sack Market. It is a furniture, home accessory and antique market that occurs one weekend every 6 weeks or so. And it is awesome!
So I have been working on some pieces that I wanted to get ready for the market. Aren’t these Henredon tables darling? Here is the before and the after…..
I also jazzed up a coffee table. This blue is my new favorite color! It is deep and rich without being a boring navy.
I have gotten a nice, big room to set up my items. I can’t believe most of this stuff lived in my garage! Yikes!
Hopefully, I will get cleared out so I can start restocking for the next market. It is a lot of fun! There are amazing things there! If you are in the Charlotte area you should check it out on Nov. 5-7 from 9 am to 4 pm. 2001 W. Morehead Street.
