Who went to the Target frenzy back in April when it was Lilly Pulitzer for Target day? My daughter and I did. And since that experience, my girl (age 7) is now a full on “Lilly girl”. She loves the color and the flowers in all of the prints. I love the happiness that the colors and prints bring, just by looking at them. So it got me thinking, how can I put that happiness on my walls?
I have a thing about saving shopping bags. Especially the pretty ones. So, of course, I have a couple of Lilly Pulitzer shopping bags lying around. And, of course, they are vibrant and beautiful! Inspiration struck! I dragged my kids to IKEA and purchased some Ribba frames. Once we returned home, I began cutting.
The Ribba frames are so easy to work with and come in many shapes and sizes. They already have a mat and everything! The basic white really made the shopping bags pop.
I love how they turned out! So does my daughter. They will be a great addition to her bathroom, which is going to be a July project for me.
