As most of you design enthusiasts know, last week was Market at High Point. That is the best time of year for designers. It is when all of the furniture and accessories companies show their new lines and new trends. It is awesome! When ever I go I get to throw myself into the world of interior design and it feels like heaven. For some reason, this year, I had my eye on light fixtures. I’m not totally sure why, but that seemed to be what I gravitated to. So I wanted to share with you a few of my favorites (and where you can get them.)
The first one is the new Corinna Chandelier by Gabby Home. Everything Gabby Home puts out, I love! Its just so my style! I would use this piece in a dining room or a bedroom with a high ceiling.
This one is from Currey and Company. They are seriously the lighting place. Find a show house you love and I can almost guarantee that there are Currey and Co. fixtures in it. I like how glamorous and moody their Destination chandelier is. I would use it in a bathroom to glam it up.
If you like some lighting that is a bit edgy, look at Cyan lighting. I can only imagine the shadows their Skyros pendant would cast on nearby surfaces. So cool!
Wall sconces are on my list of things to add to my home. And this one by Regina Andrew is definitely a statement. The herringbone swing arm sconce is 60” tall. If you are looking for some wow factor, this would do it.
Copper anyone? The Bingham pendant from Uttermost would be the perfect addition to a kitchen bar area. Throw in a copper vent hood and you have a very sophisticated kitchen.
All of these light fixtures are available to the trade. Check their websites to find local retailers.
