Are you a lazy girl? Or do you simply run out of time? We all have the best intentions to keep a beautiful home and decorate for every season and entertain like a pro. But sometimes you just need to grab what you need at the store, prop your feet up with a glass of wine and watch your recorded episodes of Fixer Upper. I know exactly how you feel. So, some friends and I would like to share with you our simple ideas for fall decorating and take you on a fall home tour. The Lazy Girls Fall Home Tour to be exact.
I have 2 rules when it comes to fall decorating. 1. The grocery store is your friend. 2. Follow the color code of the season. Simple as that. Welcome to our home!
So, first…. what do I mean by “the grocery store is your friend”? Pretty simple. You can decorate your home using items from the grocery store. Honestly. Flowers, pumpkins, squash, corn….. It is that easy.
I scatter a few mini pumpkins here and there. I add flowers and candles. Display them all on a pretty tray or arrange them artfully on a table top. Bam! There you have it.
Fall is also a time for entertaining. So when the time comes, I make sure I use napkins and plates that reflect the colors of the season. Hence, Rule #2.
So being a lazy girl just means knowing how to spend your time wisely. Don’t get fussy and over complicate. Just go with the flow. Get festive and have fun.
Happy fall y’all!!!!
