I am working with a wonderful client right now named Donna. We are addressing her front sitting room, the first room you see as you enter the house. We have affectionately called it the “Woman Cave”. We are making progress. Some furniture has been purchased, we are shopping the house to find low cost ways to improve the room and we are being patient. Because things take time. Although that is easier said than done. I thought I’d give you a little sneak peak at the “before” and the woman cave design plan.
That is the fantastic fabric scheme for this room. Can you feel it?! Wonderful coral and spa blue…… awesome! We plan to paint the walls with Benjamin Moore paints in Ballet White and the ceiling in Benjamin Moore Ocean Air.
When I began working with Donna, the room looked like this:
It was dark and sparse. Donna wants to keep her creamy leather couches. No problem. They have very clean lines so we will want to soften that up with some curvier chairs and a fluffy rug.
We have purchased these chairs for the room:
And this art:
And a cream Flokati rug just arrived! Yippee! I have moved around some garden stools that she had in her house and we have ordered an etagere. It’s coming together!
