It’s that time of year…. back to school time! I don’t know about you, but I am jumping for joy! I miss having a schedule. I miss my kids seeing their friends every day. I miss having my time to create, uninterrupted. So back to school is a joyous occasion, for me, at least. One thing I don’t enjoy though is packing lunches. My kids are picky eaters and it just gets boring. However, I have found a few great products that will make packing school lunch a breeze. Plus they are colorful and fun! (affiliate links used)
First thing is first…. what do you pack your lunches in? Last year I had plastic baggies everywhere. This year I swear that I will not do that again. So I found these awesome little items. Bento boxes, but plastic and properly sized. Perfect for lunch boxes of all shapes and sizes.
As for that big compartment in the Bento box…. what if you don’t want to make a sandwich? Well, silicone baking cups are the perfect solution. You can put mix and match items in them in the larger compartments, such as cheese and pepperoni and crackers.
Serve up some fun with these fantastic sandwich cutters. They can make any boring old PB&J into something interesting!
Lunch boxes don’t always fit the containers you need them to. Or the amount of food you need to pack. But I found these babies with 2 compartments – one for a bento box and the other for drinks and pre-packaged snacks. Brilliant!
This Thermos box is perfect for days when a sandwich is just plain boring. Only a hot lunch will do. It keeps things hot until lunchtime.
Lunch box ice packs can be big and bulky. These adorable penguins are thin and cute.
I don’t know about you, but I get sick of washing water bottles every night. A water bottle for every day of the week would be so convenient. Plus they are BPA free and dishwasher safe!
Pack an amazing lunch for kids (and adults) with this cookbook packed with awesome ideas. It is guaranteed to never let lunch get boring!
I am taking a few days to get these items together and back some incredible lunches for my kiddos! We should start the school year off right. See you all next week!
