Classica Homes is a Charlotte staple. A home builder with an impeccable reputation, they have award winning designs and neighborhoods all over the area. It should come as no surprise that their Homearama house was fantastic. While the exterior of the home looks very European, the interior has a very swanky, city feel to it. The house plan is called the Carmel and is 4,582 sq. ft. with 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. Come inside and check it out!
As you walk in the door, you are greeted by the dining room with a fireplace. A two sided fire place at that, which leads you into the great room. The whole downstairs was done in a very creamy and calming palette. I found myself telling my children not to touch anything. There were a lot of glass accents in the décor as well. The patio is accessed through a wall of doors in the great room for amazing indoor/outdoor living.
The kitchen was stunning. Very open to the great room for easy entertaining. The tile mosaic backsplash was a showstopper. The whole kitchen had a very warm feel to it although the fixtures were very utilitarian. The sink faucet looked like a restaurant style fixture and the exposed range hood spoke to the usefulness of the room.
Off of the kitchen was the breakfast area. Those chairs look so comfy. I can see family meals lingering at that table.
The master bedroom was also done in calming creamy colors. Lots of chrome helped reflect light throughout the house, including the master, and kept the feel of the home light and airy. The master bathroom had a really neat layout with the two sink vanities facing each other and a wall holding the mirrors divided them. Very cool idea for getting 2 sinks into a bathroom.
Upstairs boasted 4 bedrooms and a bonus room. Great little features around the house like the small office area in one of the bedrooms.
I think orange is very trendy right now. We’ve seen it in all 3 homes so far. Hmmm, I think I have to inject some orange in my house and I have just the fabric for it.
Stay tuned for another fantastic home tour tomorrow!
