Yet, another fantastic house! This one had some amazing features that really got my gears turning. It is called the Kingston by Bellamy Homes. It is 4.464 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. I told one of the hosts at the event that the kitchen made me want to redo mine. I really loved it! And just wait until you see all the trim and ceiling details….. WOW!
As you enter, you are greeted by the dining room and office. Both of them have the most fantastic paneling and ceiling detail. I was in awe! What a difference a ceiling can make! There was a great little window seat in the office. My children made themselves at home. (sorry for some of the glare. The sun was shining right in and it was hard to get a good photo.)
There was also a downstairs guest room, also with great paneling and gorgeous wall paper above. It was just lovely. My husband and I were enamored by this granite in the guest bath. It had a leather finish – I had never heard of such a thing
Now, the kitchen. It has so many great nooks and hidden spaces in cabinets. I just loved it. The dark wood tones made it feel very warm. And again, that leather finish granite…. so cool! Oh, the pantry door. I want one!
The great room was right off the kitchen with with fantastic stone fireplace flanked by built-ins and chesterfield sofa and chairs upholstered in linen. Double cozy!!!!
The master suite had soaring ceilings, a nice sitting area and the coolest bathroom layout of the entire tour! My husband and kiddos couldn’t stop gawking at the shower!
Up the stairs we go… I’ll race ya! With a two sided stair case I can see many races happening!
Beautiful and serene bedrooms upstairs with an upstairs laundry room and office combo. Because goodness knows, as a mother, the laundry room is kind of like your office!
A large bonus room rounds out the upstairs.
Lastly, I had to share this…. It’s a vent cover. Isn’t it pretty?! Not like the ugly white slatted ones you usually see. I seriously want to change every vent in my house out for these!
This concludes out week of house tours. I hope you enjoyed it!! I know I did!
