As I said, there were only 4 homes on the tour this year. But weren’t they amazing? What was just as amazing was the community that the homes were in. If you would like to see the homes on the tour check them out: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4. And if you would like to see the community, check out Cheval in Mint Hill, NC. It is an equestrian community with its own equestrian center for residents. It is just phenomenal! Trust me, I am down with the equestrian lifestyle.
My daughter has been riding horses for a couple of years now. And it scares me to death every day. Horses are majestic and regal, but most of all, they are powerful. It is no wonder we build communities around their care. They are truly amazing creatures. And once horses become a part of your life, they stay in your heart forever.
The Cheval community that hosted Home-a-Rama is a rolling community with pastures and trails and this amazing equestrian center.
It definitely would be a spectacular place to live if you owned your own horses. Just look at that stable?!
The community inspired the decor in many of the houses. Just see here in the art and lamp. The artwork was spectacular! I plan on adding more equestrian art to my collection. And really, doesn’t every little girl want a pony?
I know my little girl wants a pony. She is all in on the equestrian life style. And I have found myself enjoying it. Horses have great personalities, each one distinct and true. We spend a lot of time at the barn. Muddy boots have made their way into my home and I don’t seem to mind.
I decorate with horses now and equestrian paraphernalia, because like I said above, horses have a sneaky way of getting into your heart.
