It’s that time of year again! Are you as excited as I am? I just finished the annual Charlotte Homebuilders Association event, Home-A-Rama. And it was a good one! If you missed last year’s event you can catch up on Day 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of 2014. Unfortunately, there were only 4 homes on the tour this year. But, they were bigger and better than last year! So here we go on our week of home tours…… Day 1 – The Ullman Group
The Ullman Group was bold enough to do 2 homes on the tour this year. Here is the first. The plan is called the Camargue. It has 5 bedrooms and is 6,614 square feet of beauty. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
I went with two of my dearest friends to this event and we were completely taken with the color palette and the artwork in this home, starting with the front door.
I think the art work was the most amazing part of this house. All of the homes are in an equestrian community, and given that my daughter is an equestrian herself, I have fallen in love with the “horse” life style. The photo below actually looks like her pony, Mandy! So the art was very reflective of the community.
We actually toured the homes on Chef Day, where local chef’s cook in each of these luxury kitchens and we get to sample their dishes. Lucky us!
The home was decorated by Pheasant Hill Designs in Charlotte. Kendra is one talented lady!
This master bathroom was my favorite on the tour. I thought they got it right with a smaller tub (who really uses their tub?) and luxurious finishes throughout the rest of the bathroom.
The upstairs was furnished in Pottery Barn, and can you really go wrong with Pottery Barn? Especially when there are kids running around!
I hope you enjoyed Day 1. If you have any questions about the interiors, let me know and I’ll ask the designer! See you tomorrow for our second tour of the week!
