What a weekend I have had. I went to the fabulous Haven Conference. I shopped, ate and gabbed with my bestie. And I got to go to Scott’s Antique Market. AMAZING! I just couldn’t wait to share it with you. It is seriously the BEST antique market I have ever been to. Totally worth any trip to Atlanta.
I feel like I should just let the photos speak for themselves. However, this is a blog, so I’ll interject a few words here and there.
I loved these little bottles. They would make a great table top vignette or scattered about in a book shelf with a flower here and there.
French Country, anyone? A cute little pig head for your wall and some boxwood accessories.
These vintage paintings are awesome! I immediately fell in love and knew I couldn’t leave without a couple. (Now I wish I had bought more!) They are old British Vanity Fair pages that showcased prominent men. Very cool!
I thought this was very cool. A lamp made from an old propeller. And it was rusted to antique perfection.
I thought this was a brilliant idea. Burlap covered books! I may be late to the party and lots of you have already done this. Now it is on my “to do” list.
And last but not least, just a booth with a little of everything. I will be going back very soon. This market had something for everyone….. the bargain hunter, the collector, the true antique addict and custom furniture. There were light fixtures, barn wood furniture, architectural salvage and vintage clothing. It made me want to redecorate! Just wait until I share with you the little treasures I picked up!
