Sometimes a furniture makeover is so easy and goes so smoothly that it makes you wonder why you don’t do it more often, right? That just happened for me. But I can’t take all the credit. It was mostly due to a great find and an amazing paint. It all came together to make for a super easy redo.
I found this chair at a pop-up vintage shop called The Potato Sack Market in Charlotte. People come and sell their vintage wares, but it is usually pretty high end. I found this chair and it was already reupholstered! Seriously!
Then out came the best spray paint for furniture I have ever used! Seriously! Amy Howard Home Spray Lacquer was so easy to use and it gives the furniture that shine we all want. It doesn’t clump and it dries quickly. The coverage is great, it gets into all the nooks. Plus, the colors it comes in are amazing!
I used Eggplant because I felt that the color played well with the rainbow chevron that was already on the chair. And really, who doesn’t love a purple chair?! One coat and I was done on this fancy chair. I just love a simple furniture makeover, don’t you?
