Christmas cards are so much fun to receive, don’t you think? It’s such a nice change to get something in the mail other than a bill! And for those we don’t see too often, its a great way to see how their family has grown and changed. I really enjoy displaying all of these greetings in my home. However, I am prone to boredom, as we have already established, so I like to change up how I display them each year. Here are some easy and creative ideas for Christmas card displays to keep it fresh.
Sarah at Life On Virginia Street made this fantastic DIY Christmas card holder. Very elegant and affordable. It also has the added bonus of being able to be used beyond the holiday season.
My friend Angela installed IKEA curtain wires and clips to display her cards on her chalkboard wall near her entry. It was such a genius idea! And she can use it beyond the holidays, too!
Leave it to Martha to turn something so simple into something so amazingly elegant. Just some ribbon and an empty door. Viola! Instant card display!
Jenna at Rain on a Tin Roof made this little gem. Just a little frame with some glitter and raffle tickets (say what?!). But it could be made with ribbon or wire or string.
I like to use whatever I have. This year I tucked all my cards into a tobacco basket. I have searched for a tobacco basket and finally found one and I just love using it in this way.
How do you display your Christmas cards? I’d love to hear about your creativity!
